Accomplishments

Implemented energy savings cost reduction at Haier America, Saving 9% on utility costs. Through upgrading lighting in entire facility and creating new ways of storing compressed air in high demand times allowing 2- 150hp Rotary screw compressors to be shut down.

Involved in 80 million dollar expansion from planning stages, and procurement of machinery. which I travelled to Italy on many occasions to verify specs, and sign off on machinery. Along with completing all civil and facility site work needed to complete project.

Haier America Camden, SC

Supervised 12 employees on a daily basis to maintain all equipment and grounds at Haier America. I had 6 injection molding machines manufactured in China, 3 CNC machines for forming metal components for assembly of units, 2 were manufactured in China and 1 in Italy, 2 thermoformimg machines used to vacuum mold liners for cabinets, and 2 polyurethane machines used to inject foam into the doors and cabinets, 90% of all machines we maintained were 17+ years old, sometimes the parts were very hard to find. that left me with the opportunity to come up with a solution. either fabricate the part or retrofit a new part. I worked at Haier for 4 years as a maintenance tech and started out as a mechanic,

I was also an apprentice to a master electrician, who taught me about control electrical.

Prepared quotes for the installation of machinery, conveyor systems, structural systems, etc.. Supervised 8 employees to install or fabricate whatever the project may be at the time, I installed Pflow elevators, Webb and Richard Wilcox enclosed overhead track systems, single and power and free. Installed Roach, Hytrol, Buschman, Rapidstand and more types of material handling equipment. My company also had maintenance contracts on most of the systems we installed.
