This job involves saving lives, property, and securing the community from danger. I fight house fires, car fires, forest fires, give medical attention to those suffering from heart attacks, strokes, and numerous other medical conditions.

Also as a commanding officer it is my responsibility to see that all forms, applications, and reports required by local, state, and federal agencies are completed in the appropriate manner.

As the departments instructor it is my responsibility to see that all of the staff are up to date on trainings, remain certified, and to certify those that join from off the street and to build them into an effective tool for the service.

As the fire department Chief, it is my responsibility to see that the department grows stronger not only in membership but in its effective abilities to care for the public. It is also my job to ensure that the integrity, honor, and dedication remain the stepping stones that enhance the future endeavors that protect our community, state, and nation.
