In overall in charge of the unit, including operations, QHSE, budget and to keep the
Operations Director informed about relevant issues. In time with West Pegasus was able to keep the platform in the top 3 performance rigs in Seadrill fleet for 5 years running and 5 years with no LTI.
Make arrangements to ensure that the units can establish and maintain a good safety culture
Ensures operations are conducted in compliance with all safety, environmental
and health regulations
Ensuring that Synergi cases are followed up and closed out within the specified deadlines
Support the management onboard in safe practices to maintain primary well
control and to regain primary well control if primary well control is lost
Cooperate with the HSE Department in contingency and safety matters, and in implementation and updating of the Management System and HSE plans
Understand the requirements of the Management System (to include policies, procedures and expectations) and ensure they are in place and functioning
