Project Overview:

Azure RemoteApp brings the functionality of the on-premises Microsoft RemoteApp program, backed by Remote Desktop Services, to Azure. Azure RemoteApp helps you provide secure, remote access to applications from many different user devices. Azure RemoteApp basically hosts non-persistent Terminal Server sessions in the cloud, and you get to use them and share them with your users.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting application which hosted on Azure and is used widely across globe.

Creating Co-administrator, Service admin Users

Involved in creating and configuring Cloud services, scaling instances, uploading and managing Certs, deployed Web applications and configured Cloud settings, monitor the health dashboard to ensure the health of the system (PAAS)

This summary, available internally and via secure controlled access online, empowers Microsoft partners and employees to deliver superior service on licensing matters.

ECIT Quoting Applications (License Wise, Microsoft License Advisor, Online PUR, Online SPUR, IDP, SAB Calculator) are pre-sales tools where customer can generate price quote for Microsoft products. All these applications are hosted in Azure PAAS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operational lead to plan and migrate applications from On-premise to Azure PAAS.

Setting up bride calls for any production issues, sending communications to service owners, raising major incidents and troubleshooting issues.

Handling L-2 escalations for the backup, restore issues associated with Symantec Backup Exec and DPM 2007.
