Create ETL packages using SQL Server 2012 SSIS Designer to extracted data from multiple sources reformat the data and insert the reformatted data into fact table, loaded different types of dimension and fact tables into data warehouse, deployed SSIS packages and solutions into production system using SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio(BIDS).

Develop projects using SQL Server 2012 SSAS, created data source/data source view/cube with measures and dimensions, configured attributes of dimension table with hierarchy relationships; modified cube and dimensions, deployed KPIs on SSRS and created different metrics, added new measure groups and dimensions; created data-mining solutions in BIDS, deployed them to SSAS instance, trained the model and queried the model using MDX.

Collect business requirements from interior and exterior users, generated a variety of business reports using SQL Server 2012 SSRS and Tableau including matrix report, parameter report, dashboard with charts and drill down function; built reports from Analysis Services cube using MDX query designer; configured report server and deployed reports on web server.

Design new database for plotting project, create database tables with various constraints including primary key, foreign key, etc. Loaded data from flat files into SQL Server 2012 database tables using bcp, bulk insert and and table export/import. Worked closely with the application developers to achieve the automation of plotting and saved half of the project plotting budget.

Worked in the data team to monitor, Error handling, trouble shooting of ETL process in data warehouse for the payroll department. Extracted OLTP data, clean and reformate data and transfer data through several staging tables to destination tables. Incrementally load data to dimension tables using slowly change dimension, CDC, control table, T-SQL and visual C#.

Work on distributed SQL server. Loaded large volume Excel files, XML files and flat files from different departments into SQL Server 2012. Manage metadata, create views, stored procedures, user defined functions, indexes in database.

Migrate more than 100 reports from SAP Crystal Report, excel to SSRS, created features, parameters and filters in SSRS.

Shanghai MIIIS Group is a large digital company. I worked in this company to gather data from 5 business districts and worked closely with the managers from different departments. I gathered business requirements from interior and exterior users to generate ad hoc and weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly reports for Sales, Marketing, HR and financial departments using MS Excel, Tableau and SSRS.

Load data from flat data files and excel sheets into Oracle database using SQL*Loader and SQL Developer. Use advanced SQL queries with multi-table joins, group functions, subqueries and CTE.
