Directly supervised four subordinate Section Managers and an overall staff of approximately 100

people. During this time, a major accomplishment was the direction and oversight for a massive global

redistribution of Army owned equipment and tactical vehicles to get these critical stocks into the theaters of war on an expedited basis.

Directed the entire Logistics Division, comprised of fifteen subordinate Section Managers and overall

staffing of 200 employees, for the US Army's Prepositioned Materiel Afloat (APS-3) Program located in Goose Creek, SC. This program was, and is, on the cutting edge of our nation's defenses. The work

produced on this program was the first tactical equipment into the fight in the post 9/11 invasion of

Afghanistan and Iraq. In the earliest part of my tenure as the program was just being initiated, much

time and effort went into development of best business practices and procedures, most of which are still in use today, and yield and extraordinary level of quality and timely preparedness - the combination of which equals success. of Army Civilian. Initially involved in oversight of Quality of Life Programs for all active duty soldiers and their dependents, I eventually became involved in the start up of the Army's Prepositioned Stock

Program with my final billet being that of Civilian Liaison Officer for the US 1st Army, and bearing the responsibility for the readiness, repair, storage and disposition of their equipment while working within the Mission Operations Division.
