Teacher’s Assistant Gaithersburg 10/2016 – Current

Teaching children event-driven programming as part of the Panda Programmers program.

Developing small projects to encourage and guide children to develop new projects.

Helping the teacher and disseminating instructions. Guiding elementary school children towards better understanding and development of the fundamentals of programming.

Developer Baltimore 05/2016 – 10/2016

Interned for Baltimore City Public School in order to develop, design, and maintain a website. This website was created to be a resource for public school teachers to search for classroom teaching materials. The main codes utilized during the internship was PHP, MYSQL, CSS, HTML5, JQURY, JavaScript.

Collaborated with a team of students in order to develop a functional database and website displaying materials and other sources Baltimore County Public School teachers could use for their curriculums.

HTML5 and CSS were both necessary to be used together; HTML to set the outline of the page and hold the data then CSS to create the appearance.

Researched Javascript and JQuery to used in parts of coding.

Developed PHP code for interfacing with the database, which was also written in MYSQL.

Developed the outline for the project, implemented the database and the search function within the database.
