PROJECTS TITLE: SOLAR POWER GENERATION USING AUTO TRACKING BY THE HELP OF MICROCONTROLLER

Description:

objective:

To improve the efficiency of a PV module using a tracking system.

Problem in the existing system:

In the previous model the panel was fixed & hence the output from the PV module is not optimum.this is because the sun s position in the sky varies both with the seasons (elevation) & time of the day as the sun moves

Across the sky.

Solution to these problems:

In current technology condition, the utilization of tracking PV system is an optimum selection for enhancing system efficiency and reducing cost.

The international research shows that tracking sys. With single-axis can increase more than 20%

electricity output while the tracking system with double-axis can increase more than 40%

electricity output. It is the key technology of tracking system.

It is developed from mechanical tracking with hand, relative logic control tracking by along circuit to digital

tracking with control core of microprocessor, PLC or Small computer.

SEMINAR: MHD ( Magneto Hydro Dynamic ) power generation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Basic knowledge in DCA, MS Office.

Participated in National level Workshop on Applications of Matlab / Simulink to Power Electronics and Drives under Indian Society Technical Education.
