Working as a Flight Operations Controller in Flight Operations Control Center(FOCC) in airblue, monitoring the flights of fleet including A319/320/321 and A340 from point of origin to final destination, including any intermediate destinations or diversions.

WORKING EXPERIENCE DETAILS AS FLIGHT OPERATIONS CONTROLLER IN AIRBLUE
Maintain constant vigilance and oversight on the airlines operations based on A320/319/321 and 340 by evaluating schedule performance in comparison with established targets.
Develop and initiate recovery plan for operational irregularities such as delay, diversions, disruptions, cancellations, consolidations, etc, in such a manner that schedule integrity is least affected.
Maintain continuous watch on system-wide operations and initiates suitable recovery plan, in the event of any operational irregularity, in conformity with the airlines current policies.
Coordinate for non-schedule operations such as charters, extra section, positioning or ferry flights to be operated in the next 72 hours.
Coordinate and issue instructions to Stations Managers, Marketing and Operations representatives regarding coordination and disposal of passengers and cargo.
Coordinate with the operational and maintenance specialists for resolving problems regarding interpretation of MEL and also for a release of a flight at outstation when longer delays or layover at outstation are involved due to lack of maintenance facilities or spares, in accordance with the least standing instructions.
Coordinate and disseminates information according to the laid-down policies and procedures in the event of any incident, accident or emergency caused by natural calamities such as floods, rain or any other such phenomena which disrupts the airline schedule.

Process the available data of a particular flight on A319/320/321 or A340 keeping in view the operational feasibility in such a manner that flight is planned from origin to destination with utmost consideration of safety and economy.
Familiarize with the latest changes in ATS routes/navigation facilities/ NOTAMS etc, and meteorological conditions of the areas where the flight is to be dispatch.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on Technical Bulletins and Fuel Policy concerning flight dispatch, route manuals revisions, ATS procedures, etc. and day to day instructions having a direct bearing on the safe conduct of flight.
Compute the CFP(Computerized Flight Plan) giving due considerations to meteorological conditions, aircraft performance capabilities, en-route facilities, safety, economy and company fuel policy.
Performing Crew briefing/de-briefing on weather condition, en-route and at destination/alternate and availability/serviceability of Radio Navigation and Approach aids.
Provide assistance to the pilot-in-command in flight or on ground, in coordination with FOCC(Flight Operation Control Center) and or maintenance as when required.
Maintaining a thorough knowledge of en-route FIRs/UIRs rules covering over flights, facilities at destination/alternate with complete details of Search and Rescue center and the type of equipment available there.
Having a continuous watch on the flights in the tenure of duty also within the zone of responsibility, advises the management of any operational information affecting the safe conduct of flight through available communication channels.

Flight clearances
Preparing the flight clearance and verification from G.M Air Transport Civil Aviation Authority. Preparation included description of the Aircraft type, Registration, Date of Operation, Sectors, Purpose of flight, Maximum Takeoff and Landing Weight along with submission of CAA Fee.
Weather collection
Examining the Metars (actual weather), TAFORS, satellite images, upper and lower wind charts, significant weather charts, prognostic charts, and enroute weather charts of the destination and alternate aerodromes.
Notams
Critically studying the relevant Notams of the departure aerodrome, destination aerodrome, alternate aerodrome, FIRs and enroute for the proposed flight.
Operational Flight Plan
Planning the appropriate route with the compulsory, non-compulsory reporting points, the heading from each compulsory reporting points, also the direct routing for low fuel consumption, the latitude and longitude of each reporting point, wind components, ground speed, the temperature at the respective levels, true air speed, distance, including RVSM, restricted area, MAA, MEAs, MSA. Calculating fuel burn off at each reporting point till the top of descent. Calculating the burn off fuel, fuel flow for the top of climb, cruise and top of descent from the performance chats.
ATC Flight Plan
Filling up the ATC flight plan and filing it in an appropriate ATS facility.
Weight and balance
Calculating load distribution, Center of Gravity, Takeoff, Landing, and Zero fuel weight to maintain the stability of the aircraft during flight.
Fuel
Evaluating the fuel for the flight including the sector or trip fuel, holding, taxi, reserves, contingency fuel and fuel distribution in tanks of the aircraft.
Briefings
Briefing the Pilot-in-Command according to the operational flight plan from takeoff till landing regarding the Notams, actual weather, TAFORS, fuel, takeoff and landing limitations, and also describing the entry and exit points for the intended flight.
