Facility Maintenance To ensure all facility operations are maintained in effective manner to conduct preventative maintenance and routine maintenance schedules on facilities buildings, vehicle fleet, laundry equipment and all yard and grounds equipment. Perform carpentry work on existing structure, to include fabrication of new walls and doors to accommodate new building modifications. To perform maintenance on existing electrical, and plumbing systems. Pressure wash facilities grounds and buildings. To paint facilities exterior and interior walls. To supervise additional maintenance employees and ensure all current safety practices are used. Perform operator level maintenance on vehicles and coordinate major repairs with local vendors.
University of Alaska Fairbanks M ay 2011 Feb 2016 40 hours per week. Supervised student interns performed troubleshooting for both heating and refrigeration customer complaints, performed monthly, semi, and annual preventative maintenance duties on both heating equipment and refrigeration equipment to include heat exchangers, boilers, furnaces, coils, chillers, condensers, air compressors, and gas compressors. Recovery of refrigerant gases in accordance with current EPA 608 standards. Assumed stand by rotation for 24 hour emergency response. Coordinated with building managers for equipment shutdowns and outages. Most recently fabricated custom screen access system for aphid screens in Arctic Health Research Greenhouses to help improve aphid infestation control during vegetative and flowering experiments. Installed cabinet unit heaters in several buildings throughout the university campus, tying into existing heating loop system from steam power plant. Recovered 5,000 lbs of R22 from Patty Ice Arena to facilitate repair of gas leak under ice rink completing work under schedule minimizing down time for ice rink. Rebuilding 20 H.P. compressor for use with ice rink lead lag R22 refrigeration system. Also this past summer drained a 4 building heating system and cut in new building balancing valves and updated building zone valves from pneumatic to current electrical 24 volt zone valves, and balanced new system for Maclean house, which is student housing for rural alaskan students.
Tanana Valley Clinic B uilding Maintenance Tech 26 Sep 09 6 Feb 10 40 hours per week. To ensure all facility operations are in good working order, including all building HVAC systems to include air handlers, boilers and district heating controls, to conduct weekly and monthly preventative maintenance schedules, conduct repairs on all building electrical, plumbing, carpentry, door and lock repair and replacement, flooring, drywall, sheetrock, painting, and window repair. Conduct grounds work to maintain lawns, sidewalks and parking lot areas, to include snow removal using snow blowers and snow plow. Maintain positive relationship between hospital staff and maintenance staff to facilitate repairs with minimal effect on staff to patient relationship.

Maintain all property HVAC systems to include repairs and maintenance to both gas and oil fired boilers, furnaces and air handling units conduct repairs to all housing building electrical and plumbing systems, conduct repairs to include carpentry, drywall, sheetrock, apartment renovation including door repair, and replacing, painting, lock repair, window repair and 24 hour on call standby rotation.Maintain grounds lawns, sidewalks, and parking lots ensuring tenant safety, and also snow removal. Supervise summer student help and ensure work is completed using current safety practices.

Supervise additional maintenance employees ensure all building heating and cooling systems are in good working state of operation to include repairs on boilers, furnaces and air handling systems. EDUCATION
University of Alaska Fairbanks Pipeline Training Center Processing Technology program. Have obtained 54 out of 60 credit hours for degree. Need to complete grade in Algebra and Chemistry. Attended photovoltaic class where we set up Solar Panel Array of 48 panels for Cold Climate Housing Research. Also completed wind turbine classes where we built own stator and coils winding our own coils and building our own stator using neodymium rare earth magnets. We also utilized a portable lighting trailer as a mast for the turbine and used the battery bank as a power supply. Competed EPA 608 training and obtained Universal license. Attended and completed Siemens Apogee training to include both 620 APOGEE Workstation Operation, and 625 APOGEE Advanced Operations class. Attended annual asbestos operation and maintenance training 8 hour class and additional 4 hour refresher. Current FIT test for respirator and Half Mask. Hold and possess current Boiler 3 license. Attended boiler operator maintenance and safety, and power flame EGR, and steam system and steam system design through Columbia Hydronics. Completed Basic Rigging and Signalling Certification. Completed Electrical Ladder Drawings, Schematics and Diagrams, Electrical Motors and Motor Control Circuits, Basic Electricity through American Trainco.
