RESUME
I started my career in 2002 as Telecom Engineer working for Internet Service Provider in Kazakhstan. I performed technical duties by installing and maintaining various telecom solutions, radio and satellite links, servicing clients on technical issues resolution and service requests.
After two years in telecom role I joined “Oil Refinery Reconstruction Project” as System Administrator where I administered MS Windows server infrastructure and provided end-user support for various IT solutions and client-server applications of JGC Corporation (Japan Engineering Company). In 2004, after project completion, I returned back to Internet Service Provider as Sales Manager tasked to improve quality of service provision and increase sales of telecom solutions in the region. My technical expertise, good relationship management skills and enthusiasm significantly facilitated growth of sales over 2 years. Under my leadership our Sales Management team signed several key strategic contracts with International companies presented in the region. Our branch office was awarded “Best Sales Force of the Year” by Managing Director for two years in a row. To continue my professional development I applied to IT Project Advisor role in Oil & Gas Company “AgipKCO”
(Kashagan field development in Caspian Sea). I was assigned as Project Manager to deliver several challenging telecom projects while main responsibility was to roll-out Project Delivery Methodology for ICT Department. Within a year I successfully delivered two projects and jointly with central Programme Management Office team I implemented new project delivery methodology for IT and completed on-boarding of IT staff and Project Managers into a new ICT Project Delivery framework.
In November 2007 I was invited by Managing Director of a “Caspian Technical Resources” (local Construction & Training Company) to join as IT Manager to assist in recovering Company after crisis. Company was at risk of losing reputation and revenue due to collapse of corporate IT infrastructure. IT Security breaches seriously impacted business operation. I was challenged to re-build IT infrastructure and setup IT Support organization “from scratch”. Within two years I delivered new IT infrastructure with distributed network, setup effective service delivery organization and key IT processes and KPIs, concluded required service provision contracts with IT service providers. I left the Company on a third year when I delivered all my commitments including successful implementation of Corporate Training Database and development of IT Strategy aligned with business goals.
In 2011 I joined “Petrochemical Plant Construction project” as IT Director where I was responsible for defining technical requirements for IT solutions, developing IT strategy and budget as well as designing and putting in place IT organization for successful operation of both Project Office and future Petrochemical Plant. I worked closely with EPC contractor in China reviewing and approving IT architecture designs of all IT solutions of the Plant. For Project Office I developed and implemented IT Strategy, IT Organisation and processes including back-office IT Infrastructure with distributed network (China and Kazakhstan locations). I successfully managed IT operations for two years and oversaw all IT solutions implementation projects. I developed IT Strategy, obtained budget approval from Board of Directors and handed-over my role to successor to continue career development in major international O&G Company. I started Service Management role in O&G Company managed by Shell International (Kashagan project). Together with Subject Matter Experts from Shell we lead Service Management programme to design and implement ITSM Processes and tools to support Kashagan start-up. Within a year I took over Programme Management responsibilities from Shell SME. After another year I was promoted to Service Delivery Manager for Business Applications Portfolio (over 400 applications including SAP ERP). In 2014, during Company merger, I was assigned to manage the project for Transformation of IT Services and Localization of supporting capabilities. We successfully segregated all IT solutions from Shell global infrastructure, concluded direct contracts with Service Providers and outsourcing partners, implemented a new IT Delivery Model and transitioned to support over 70 Production Applications and big range of Infrastructure services. Currently I’m IT Service Manager and ITSM Subject Matter Expert responsible for designing support organizations and processes, identifying and implementing service improvements, improving customer experience and satisfaction, transitioning IT services from design/project to operations. I continuously design and conduct all internal trainings for ITSM processes and tools, integrating processes with external service providers, implementing and measuring KPIs, facilitating workshops. Successfully delivered required service improvements to support startup of Kashagan field. I’m facilitating Leadership skills development sessions with leaders, mentoring staff and colleagues, Chairing service performance review boards and improving services through PDCA cycle.
