Promoted to Team Lead February 2013. Promoted to Supervisor February 2015.Created and supervised the CAE (Cable Assembly Engineering) Department. Qualified individual off the shelf components to be used in Extron designed cables. Designed custom made connectors for hot bar soldering method to improve reliability and throughput on our cable production line. Developed UltraFlex raw cable for table top retractors as well as 4K HDMI raw cable. Worked closely with our Mechanical design group to design custom molds for all cable assemblies. Assisted our manufacturing facility in China to develop process to build complete cable assemblies in house. Cables include, user interface cables such as BNC, VGA, DVI, UltraFlex HDMI 4K, DisplayPort, Fiber Optic and USB. All cables internal to Extron equipment as well, such as AC input, AC output, communications cables, ribbon cables and interconnections between PCBs.
