Relevant Projects
Senior Project- Optimized Solar Tracking Sept.2014 - May 2015
Developed a low cost low power microprocessor based solar optimizer tailored to small-scale solar applications. Designed a solar tracker that utilizes the control signals to operate two servomotors tasked to modulate the azimuth and elevation orientation of the solar panel to maintain perpendicularity to the sun. Developed a PCB for the detection via photo diode for the sun tracker using eagle program. Developed a 3D model of the physical tracker mount and case using a biodegradable thermoplastic.
Embedded Systems Design - Automatic Door Open January 2015- May 2015
Work with group to design a real-time embedded system on FRDM K22F micro-controller by using C language to debug the program. Also, work on system design and methodologies and techniques, microcontroller hardware design, testing and implementation.
Electrical Design- Design Transformer January 2014- May 2014
The emphasis is on application of design methodologies to electrical and computer engineering design problems in this project. In this design, transformer used in applications which require the conversion of AC voltage from one voltage level to another. it’s required 1 phase of transformer will be step-down.
Relevant Research
Power Spike Detection and Removal Technology January 2014- May 2014
Introduction of the development of a unique spike detection and removal technology for Power Electronic Converters (PEC). PECs are usually utilized for renewable energy systems so as to control the frequency, currents, harmonics, power and voltages that are generated by the grid.
