My job consisted of supervising on designing and constructing an automated line for moulding and casting hoof of train's brakes. This line works in the way that two operators mould with two vibrating model panels and after they put each mould on a wagon, by pushing a button they order the wagons in the line to move. At the other side of the 110 feet long and 15 feet wide line, one operator assembles the moulds and another operator pours molten metal in the moulds. The whole line works with two hydraulic jacks and two hydro motors. The line was taking its orders from a Siemens S7-200 PLC. This project was completely designed by me and built under my supervision.
