Title: Design and Fabrication of Tilting Vice.

Kit: Stand and Vice.

Description:

A vice is a mechanical screw apparatus used for holding or clamping a work piece to allow work to be performed on it with tools such as saws, planes, dills, mills, screwdrivers, sandpaper,etc. vices usually have one fixed jaw and another parallel jaw which is moved towards or away from the fixed jaw by the screw.

MAIN PROJECT:

Title: Design The Machine Door Using Machine Bed Movement.

Description:

By the using Karakuri Kaizen concept in Japanese technology helps to reduce the physical strain of a workman in a workplace. So we are planned to make a automatic door open and close of a machine door (multi spindle horizontal drilling machine) using a pulley mechanism. We implement this project in Tractor and Farm Equipment TAFE, Chennai.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Actively participated in the one day Workshop on Advanced Welding Technology a national level symposium conducted by Mechanical Engineering department at J.J.College of Engineering & Technology, Trichy.
