Objective:
Looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician position in a company based production facility. To perform work related duties installation, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment, including climbing ladders and lifting and rigging. I am willing to work shift work prefer a third shift position if available. Willing to work weekends and overtime as required.
Work Summary:
Worked the Past 25 years in a paper production manufacturing facility doing maintenance electrical work and troubleshooting services. Have full knowledge of electrical distribution and motor control systems. Performing standard maintenance work as required to maintain lubrication and coupling motor alignment of standard, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Preventive maintenance work and installation of equipment and systems. Preventive maintenance of motor control distribution, troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematic drawings and test instrument diagnostic techniques. Worked on PLC systems Allen Bradley PLC diagnostics. Worked on 24 volts to 480-volt control and distribution equipment using proper LOTO and PPE safety procedures practices.

PLC experience in Allen Bradley and RS Logics system structures, reading electrical wiring, ladder and PLC Logic diagrams.
VFD drive experience with various vendors drive systems both AC and DC motor.
Trained in ARC Flash LV & HV - Based on NFPA 70E & OSHA, LOTO and PPE safety procedures, and maintenance.
Troubleshooting and inspection of overhead gantry cranes and hoists.
Versed in use of maintenance documentation, writing of ESOP documents using Microsoft Word and Excel, using Intercompany e-mail and standards.

Hired April 1991 till present, Jefferson Smurfit Corp / Paper Works Industries as maintenance Electrician1st class. Worked doing Installation of electrical equipment including pipe bending and wire feeder installation and termination. Past 15 years worked as 3rd shift electrical technician, maintaining electrical processes and troubleshooting during production runs and downtime.
Hired January of 1984-1991, ABM Electric contractor, servicing the Paper and Corrugated Manufacturing Industry. Worked doing electrical Installations of equipment, feeder wire installations and termination. Commercial electrical knowledge in voltages 24 volts to 480 Volts. Preventive maintenance in manufacturing facilities and downtime PM’s. troubleshooting control and distribution systems and equipment. On call service technician.

George Washington H.S. & Alvin A. Swenson Skills Center 1976 to 1980
Was in electronics and electrical shops during junior and sophomore years high school.
During my Senior year of High School, I attended Alvin A. Swenson Skill Center in its first year opening. Took Drafting as first elective Electronics wasn't available till mid-year, Completed last half year in Electronics Lab.
Pennco Technical Institute Applied Electronics 1982-1983
Went to Pennco Technical Institute Electronics for study of electronics theory and applied technology for a 1 year program.

Avid Radio Control Model Enthusiast and Intro Pilot Instructor with Academy of Model Aeronautics, Member of the North East Philadelphia Radio Control Club past 25 years. Avid Hunter and Fisherman, Member of Langhorne Rod and Gun Club and NRA and ILA Member.
