PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

04 Nov’2015 until Present: I am working as a full time Physician Assistant on a contract with the Department of Corrections for the State of Alabama. I work in an all-male prison and at a work release setting as sickcall and chronic care provider. We have chronic care and acute care patients with multiple conditions from HIV, asthma, copd, CHF, Hepatitis, HTN, .. to acute issues from bronchitis to self -inflicted injuries to assaults. 01 AUG 2004 to 31 Jul’15: With exception of 7 months deployment to Iraq for urgent/routine care of deployed soldiers in combat zone.

Full-time Physician Assistant at Clark Health Clinic, Department of Family Medicine, Fort Bragg, NC. Duties include but not limited to use being comfortable with computer software for charting, ordering of diagnostic testing, medicine and consults. Providing state of the art care through prescribing courses of treatment and medication consistent with capabilities and credentials for both active duty and family members to include Well Women, physical exams, acute and chronic issues.

8 April 1996 to 31 July 2004: With of exception 12 month deployment to Iraq for urgent/routine care of deployed soldiers in combat zone.

Full-time Physician Assistant at Primary Care Outpatient Clinic, Lyster Army Hospital, Department of Family Medicine, Ft Rucker, Ala. Duties include but not limited to use being comfortable with computer software for charting, ordering of diagnostic testing, medicine and consults. Providing state of the art care through prescribing courses of treatment and medication consistent with capabilities and credentials for both active duty and family members to include physical exams, acute and chronic issues. 25 March 1996 to April 7 1996: Moved to new job.

1 November 1995 to 24 March 1996:

Full-time Physician Assistant, Acute Care Clinic, Beaufort Naval Hospital, Beaufort, SC. Duties included working Fast Track off Emergency Room for urgent/acute care of member of the active duty and their family members. Due to downsizing of contract the job ended. 25 October 1995 to 31 October 1995: Moved to new job. 20 March 1995 to 24 October 1995:

Full-time Physician Assistant, Fulton County Jail, Atlanta, Ga. Duties included sickcall team leader, initial and periodic physicals, acute and chronic illness management. Left due to contractor’s contract ending due to being under bided. 1 March 1995 to 19 March 1995: Moved to new job.

2 May 1990 to 28 Feb 1995:

Full-time Physician Assistant at the Johnston County Health Department, Smithfield, NC. Duties included Family Planning, to include birth control pills, IUD’s, diaphragms and Norplant System: Child Health, both sick and well, to include sports physicals: Sexually Transmitted Diseases; Employee Health, both sick and well

; Maternity up to 36 weeks; County Jail on-site acute care/sickcall. In all clinics, maintained health records, ordered appropriate diagnostics and consults, and treated consistent with capabilities and credentials.
