I was in solo practice from July 1999 until July 2014, and continued to do both outpatient and inpatient work. I have 25 years of experience in practice of full scope Family Medicine including urgent care and minor office procedures, DMV physicals, work related injuries pre- employment physicals, and travel medicine. In addition, I routinely did Medical Acupuncture in my private practice. I am an experienced family physician with great communication skills. I am well respected in the community and well liked by my patients. I have won numerous patient satisfaction awards. I received special training in Life Style Change from Metagenics in 2006, and our office practice was awarded as Therapeutic Life Style Change Center for Excellence in 2007. I received a fellowship in Integrative Medicine with special training in Nutrition Counseling and Motivational Interviewing. I am well versed and comfortable using several different EMRs including Nextgen, Epic Office, Ally, Athena, and Primesuite. I am an active member of the following organizations: University of Arizona Integrative Medicine Program, Alumni Association and American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. and the American Medical Directors Association.
