Experience

Engineering Technician: Dayton T. Brown (May 2016-Jan2017)

Primarily worked on the Mobile Quick Look (MQL-1&2) assets as a Department of Defense (DOD) contractor for the Navy. I was responsible for engineering changes and upgrades to the Mql platforms as well as prototype and troubleshooting systems. Work included but not limited to metal fabrication from blueprints as well as prototype work with no blue printing. Use of Shears, Breaks End mills and drill presses. In charge of installing RF antennas and other cabling and electronic procedures/soldering; including installation and troubleshooting of RF, power Ac and Dc, Cat 5 and Ca6 and fire and security systems as well as installation of fiber optic cabling. On hand for Cdl reference and Cdl driving duties when needed.

Shipping Receiving Clerk: Bae Systems (June 2015-May 2016)

Responsible for handling and tracking of government owned systems. Was essential in the movement of complete inventories of aircraft landing systems and handling of test equipment and electronics. Operated fork lifts and loaded trucks regularly. Operated government owned inventory control systems (IMMS LIMMS).

Apprentice Lineman: SMECO (March 2011-October 2014)

As an apprentice lineman levels 1-6; Duties included Construction of 3 phase and singles phase Ac power distribution systems; which included operation of Line trucks, bucket/ boom trucks and heavy equipment. Reading construction specifications and blue prints from engineers. Other duties included troubleshooting and repairs of distribution ac circuits. From Fault location to splicing repairs. During this time gained my CDL license and operated CDL vehicles on a daily basis.

Engineering Technician 2: CSC (Feb2009-Nov2010) (June 2004-April2007)

Completed Engineering Technician apprenticeship working for the Real Time Telemetry Division (RTPS) on the Patuxent River Naval Air Base. Duties Ranged from set-up, patching, maintenance, system transition and real time aircraft tracking. During Transition from RTPS 3 to RTPS4 was tasked with assisting system build up; Running / installation of Fiber optic and networking cabling. Also was involved with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of tracking systems. Experience also included buildup of RF cabling, soldering and troubleshooting with multi-meters.

Responsible for design fabrication and maintenance of Navy target assets. As well assisting in live fire marine and ship board projects and Navy fleet training and support. Responsible for electronic systems and metal fabrication as wells as maintenance of operational systems of navy assets. Such as but not limited to static targets, ship board projects and high speed remote control targets. As wells as marine operations and electronics of vessels.

Machinist/Fabricator: Triton Metals

Responsible for producing a professional and precise product for the customer in close tolerance to the blue print and customer specifications. Worked with engineers and professional machinist to run various machining and metal fabricating process. Evolved in running and setting up CNC water jets, mills, lathes, punches, Mig and Tig welding and other tooling.
