June 2014 to Dec 2016
Toronto ON-Canada
Sr QA Analyst/Test Coordinator/UAT Tester
Project Description:
Charles River Development (CRD):
In April 2013 CIBC acquired Atlantic Trust (AT); a US based boutique wealth management firm focused exclusively on serving high net worth individuals (“HNWI”), families, foundations and endowments. Atlantic Trust is a wholly-owned subsidiary of INVESCO Ltd. The intended operating model will leverage CIBC internal and external systems processes where possible, maintain current outsourced or ASP process by moving the contracts to CIBC and migrate applications hosted in INVESCO data centers to CIBC facilities. Any systems / functions that AT is currently leveraging from INVESCO will be moved to a comparable CIBC system, assuming comparable CIBC systems exist and minimal customization is required to integrate.
For Portfolio Management and Trading CIBC will leverage AT / INVESCO’s Charles River – Equity and FI Portfolio Management instance with the intention of migrating to CIBC selected system within an agreed times frame. The primary deliverable in migrating from Charles River to CIBC selected system will be to understand and document the business requirements as it related to AT portfolio management and trading processes.
CRIMS is currently using INVESCO hosting services to host the Charles River application. For Portfolio Management and Trading CIBC will leverage AT/INVESCO's Charles River – Equity and FI Portfolio Management instance with the intension of migrating to CIBC selected systems.CRIMS application will be migrated from Oracle DB to SQL server.
This process is to migrate the CIBC/AT instance of CRD from the current IVZ walled off instance to a CRD hosted solution, Rackspace.com (accessible via Citrix)
AT.COM: The Atlantic Trust.com website was migrated from Invesco to a third party vendor and whose duties are migrating the site and all of its current content to the new environment.
The Atlantic Trust.Com website is a client facing brochure website that contains information about Atlantic Trust and its business model and management teams.Additionally, the website provides links for Atlantic Trust Clients to access and manage their assets and account information contained within a third party website.
AT.COM for AKAMAI:
The Initiative is to deploy AKAMAI Security Solution for Atlantictrust.Com (AT.COM).The AKAMAI solution will provide the ability to better defined against internet based security threats such as DDOS attacks. Akamai will install the SSL certificates (for encrypted communication between Akamai and AT.COM layer) on Akamai edge servers.
StatPro (Composite Performance Reporting):
Atlantic Trust performance team uses StatPro Performance Global(SC6) for Composite Performance Reporting.SC6 is currently under Invesco under TSA(Transition service agreement). The Purpose of this project is to replace SC6 with a new version of StatPro(SC8) which provide reporting required for GIPS verification.
Currently, Atlantic Trust is using a system to calculate Client level Performance which feeds a report to Composite Performance system, Statpro. The Statpro system is to be replaced with a Composite Performance system which must be GIPS compliant and verifiable. The following outlines the requirements for a Composite Performance system to integrate with Atlantic Trust’s Client performance system.
StatPro Delivery II:
Atlantic Trust Composite Performance Reporting was migrated to a new version of StatPro (SC8) in December 2014 as part of Jaguar day 2 TSA application migration project. Even though the application set up and infrastructure migrated from Invesco to StatPro, the manual process has remained due to the dependency of Temenos implementation and project timelines. The purpose of this project is to automate the data gathering, StatPro file creation, import to StatPro, as well as account composite association.
Data Integrity Control (Header/Trailer):
Currently all the data elements used within Atlantic Trust other than restricted data is at risk due to lack of interface control.
