WORK HISTORY

AECOM. Consulting Civil Engineer (July, 2015 - present). As a consulting Civil

Engineer, I perform contract work as needed including a recent two-month assignment in Nevada. My duties include: proposal generation, technical writing and document evaluation for the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). Currently, I am working on a 15-year Support Services Contract. I am responsible for the Civil Engineering, Warehousing and Machine Shop sections.

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Project Manager - Civil Engineering and Facilities Support Contract (June, 2012 – July, 2015)

As the Project Manager I was responsible for the execution of all work on the contract to include: technical writing for all specifications and contracts, supervising a staff of 50-75 personnel performing preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, daily maintenance requirements, contractual and sub-contractual documentation, project estimates, project management and scheduling, corporate Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) functions, warehousing, Quality Inspection and Control functions and interfacing with contracting organizations and USAF customers. Scope included 18 customer labs needing HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing, carpentry and test equipment maintenance.

Hillsdale County Road Commission. Project Engineer. (May 15, 2006-October 15, 2011)

Engineer for road renovation, bridge construction, pulverization, new construction and drainage. Projects include Mechanic Road Renovation, Moore Road Bridge, Territorial Road Bridges and Camden Road, others available upon request.

Department of Defense (DOD) NTTR. GS-13, Range and Test Safety Officer. (2003-2005)

In charge of Flight Termination Systems for all aircraft, existing and new prototype.

Systems Engineering and impact points for manned and un-manned aerospace vehicles.

Raytheon Aerospace NTTR, Program Manager. (2002-2003)

Provide technical direction and management of engineering/surveying/design group, material test section and O&M planning section for a DOD contract.

Perform Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation functions for DOD and DOE, in charge of multiple machine shops specializing in unique manufacturing.

EG&G Special Projects NTTR, Civil Engineering Department Manager. (1996-2002)

Provide on-site construction and maintenance management for a DOD Civil Engineering organization including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, warehousing and structural.

Construction Projects include: two 16,000 Cubic Yard concrete horizontal projects; a 40,000 Square Foot Motor Pool Complex; a 20,000 Square Foot, a 20,000 Square Foot Fire Station and a 100,000 Square Foot Industrial Complex renovation.

As Department Manager, I was responsible for an annual Operations and Maintenance budget between $18M and $20M.

Maintenance Programs included: Road and Grounds maintenance, HVAC maintenance, Generator and UPS maintenance, Overhead line and Substation Maintenance, Facility maintenance, Water and Waste Water management, and machine maintenance.

I led more than 300 craftsmen operating within 13 Collective Bargaining Agreements, both Construction and Maintenance.

EG&G Reynolds Electrical and Engineering Company, Inc. NTTR. Project Engineer/Project Superintendent for Construction and Maintenance. (1991-1996)

100% detailed construction and maintenance capital improvement project estimates; Critical-Path-Method schedules and weekly updates; weekly financial and progress analysis; drawing and specification reviews; change-order processing; daily quality and building code inspections and Total Quality Management instruction and implementation.

United States Air Force NTTR. Civil Engineering Officer. (1986-1991)

Financial programming officer in charge of preparation of funds programming documents with financial statistical analysis; long-term maintenance planning and execution including upgrading and replacement; analysis of existing facilities for future planning requirements; 100% detailed estimates; civil, structural, mechanical and electrical design, auto-cad drawings and specification preparation and in charge of contractor bidding, award selection and project evaluation.
