Sports Central – Enterprise System for Turner Sports distribution of NBA, MLB content

oSolution Architect – Sports Central Stabilization and Enhancement. Changed system architecture and workflow design that resulted in $600K yearly savings in support cost. Awarding winning system of Broadcast Engineering Excellence, NetApp Innovator Award, and IBC shortlisted. ($4M)

oSolution Architect – Sports Near-line Editing Enhancement – Changed editing application and room design that was ergonomic to the user resulting in improved editing efficiency and faster ON AIR time ($1M).

oInfrastructure Architect/Project Engineer –Sports Central. Designed, and configured major components of the system including all disaster recovery scenarios. Resulted in centralization and increased access efficiency of NBA, NCAA, MLB, video content ($24M).

CNN HD Upgrade – Upgrade to High Definition for Ingest, Edit and Playout infrastructure

oImplementation Engineer - Atlanta Editbay Build Out - responsible for upgrading CNN's Editbay infrastructure, which consisted of Installing HD capable equipment such as Harris VTM2000 Rasterizer, Apple Final Cut, Evertz 7701 frame, and much more ($2M).

Macy’s, October 2015 – Current

Implement and Support Macy’s Enterprise Data Warehouse, including enterprise IBM servers and Teradata software.

Assess the current and future technology landscape specific to foundational data analytic platforms; in the effort, to open up the ability for Enterprise Data Warehouse to focus on advance innovative IT solutions that enhance its service offerings, resulting in the enablement of new reporting business capability to achieve complementary strategic objectives.

Turner Broadcasting, Feb 2011 – April 2015

Installed, configured, and provided technical support for windows, linux and Virtual server farm clusters both remotely and onsite.

SAN administered storage systems including configuration, design, and maintenance (EMC, Omneon, NetApp, Hitachi, BlueArc, Promise)

Designed, configured and implemented all hardware and software solutions as high availability redundant systems.

Installed, Configured and Administered enterprise network switches and routers in clustering and high availability scenarios.

Lead Engineer part of a team that configured, implemented and supported several 1000 servers used for cloud and SAAS based applications.

Led IT design and implementation on enterprise system infrastructure that was high availability, load balancing, high traffic, fully redundant, multi-petabyte in storage, consisting of 900 servers that provided SAAS, iSAAS application delivery for critical operations.

On Air system engineer providing quick solutions to critically impacted services for CNN. Supported enterprise level systems which is included switches, storage, cloud and SAAS applications.

Played an active role in the change management process, implementing and providing feedback on changes that need to be made to On Air Critical Systems.

Provided support for CNN broadcast technical operations, post production facilities, and includes support for many central server systems critical to the operations of the entire news group such as commercial playback, package playback, DR&E, etc. and provide engineering expertise for implementing new technology and projects across news groups.

Perform installation, maintenance and repair of state of the art analog and digital, audio and video broadcast television systems as well as IT and networking systems at local and remote sites.

Participated in broadcast technology and IT project design, execution, testing, documentation, and training.

Helped to document quality standards, systems anomalies, operational procedures and reference materials

Acted in a lead role on small and medium sized projects supervising other engineers on the installation, maintenance and repair of broadcast equipment and studio systems.
