Lead the storage tower in order to assure the service to the client. Coordinate human resources, assure the SLA accomplishment, generate capacity management plans, SAN performance analysis, SAN management and troubleshooting for devices like HP EVA and 3PAR. Generate documentation for SOPs, Infrastructure Diagrams, KB articles, etc.

Design storage solutions, like sizing, groups of disks, type of RAID s, FAST policies, etc. Administer storage provisioning like masking luns, vluns, cpg s, tpv s (Thin Provisioning Volumes), on NAS create, aggregates, volumes, shares CIFS & NFS, snapshots, snapmirrors, etc. Migrate luns assigned to hosts using diverse tools like Veritas Volume Manager, Solaris Volume Manager Metadevices, ZFS, RAW devices, PowerPath Migration Enabler, etc. Experience with OS like Solaris, Red Hat Linux, ESX, Citrix, Windows. Monitor storage performance, space usage, and debug issues. Obtain emcgrabs and Hear Report and apply SAN remediation to meet the Heat Report requirements.

Administer CISCO MDS 9000 switch s for zoning purpose, like creates zones, zone sets, activates interfaces, etc. Monitor switch operation and debug issues. Also knowledge on Brocade SAN switches.

Infrastructure Project Manager

Project manager related to IT infrastructure (hosting, networking, DB, application, and datacenters) for current or new clients. During the year of 2010 I Lead 2 projects for different clients, one related to implement a Trade and Customs application on a Oracle RAC Cluster. The another project was the relocation of the main Mexico Datacenter of a client where they have hosted critical applications like payroll, customs, manufacturing, etc.. During the years of 2008 and 2009 I lead the implementation of 11 projects for new clients and 6 projects for currents clients. The IT solutions include configurations of clusters with Symantec Veritas HA 5.5, HP Dataguard, Oracle RAC, DRP’s, virtualized environments, etc. The application solutions implemented were Payroll & RH (META4 & LMS), and Trade & Customs (2TS).

Design of IT Solutions including model cost and components, configuration and functionality diagrams.

Research and testing of technologies that support business strategies like cost reduction, delivery quality assurance, and availability of IT environments. (VMware, Oracle RAC, grid computing, blade servers, Solaris 10 x86, Linux, etc.)

Installation, configuration, and testing with servers platform x86 and Solaris 10 for DB purpose using Oracle 10g and 11g. Also I have experience with servers Sun Fire Sparc IIIi, T1 & T2 (v240, v245, T2000 & T5120) for DB purpose using Oracle 10g.

On virtualization I had been working for more than a year with VMware products like Workstation, Server, and ESXi 3.5. I implement more than 20 virtual machines for production and testing environments. Also have experience with Sun VirtualBox.

I have basic experience installing and configuring platform PA-Risk and HP-UX 11.23i. I have basic skills to administer HP-UX, DataGuard, and DataProtector.

I have good experience with Symantec Veritas HA 5.5 for cluster configurations. Integrate new resources to the cluster, maintenance, logs review, create new Veritas file systems (vxfs), etc.

Supervise and coordinate the installation of IT infrastructure of Delphi Hermosillo plant for the Ford CDXX project.

Support the datacenter of Delphi Hermosillo plant, with 6 servers, 4 communication links, 2 routers, 1 STU, 3 switches. Also assure the backup process, participate in the development of the IT contingency plan.

Support, configure, and training the personal in the application (In Sequence System) to manage the just in time manufacturing process. This application is the core to receive, control the manufacturing process, and shipment delivery for the electronic orders sent by Ford.

Coordinate the execution of the IT contingency plan in there 3 layers (network, hosting and industrial PC’s, in sequence system).

End user support for IT related issues (networking, PC, applications). Also support for the industrial IT equipment like manufacturing PC’s, printers (Zebra & Printronix), PLC’s, etc.

Development of application to monitor the manufacturing process and communicate with the PLC s.

Develop an application for a Pharmaceutical business to support their sales activities. The application was developed with Delphi 7.0 and MYSQL. Also End User support and PC maintenance activities.

There are 3 foreign offices in Nogales, Naco, and Sonoita within the Sonora State, the permits are expedited in the foreign offices but the database is consolidated at the Hermosillo Headquarters.

Develop client server’s applications for the Northwest Regional Submanagement of Administrative area of CFE. Also was developed an application to support the finances services, accountability, human resources, etc.
