Supervisor, Structural 5/2013-10/2015

• Managed a team of structural inspectors, anticipated availability of proper set of drawings, and materials on the site prior to fabrication and assembly of modules, and controlled work progress with contractor supervisors for fabrication and assembly structural parts of a CPF topside.

• Personally trained inspectors on verification the existing codes and specs from beginning to the structure release point for the next or final step. Managed high-risk findings and collaborated with lab, engineering and quality control until proper resolution found.

• Audited subcontractors both technically and quality wise before beginning fabrication.

• Assessed root cause analysis, deviations, and NCRs provided by main contractor and controlled their implementation in drawings and fabrication.

• Evaluated ITPs, fabrication procedures, WPS & PQR for structure by considering fabrication special issues for complex/high alloyed items which made for fewer defects, especially welding cracks and uplifted productivity.

• Evaluated shop drawings per engineering drawings which prevented hours of reworking and saved project time.

• Controlled HSE requirements implemented at contractor site which minimized the risk of accident occurrence and delays.
