This Project is a joint venture with Alstom Transportation and has seven lines. Managed the development of a prototype monorail Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) application project for Bombardier Transportation (BT). The prototype design was successfully completed and qualified for production. This RFID project was a Manual Speed Restriction Detection System (MSRDS) unit to restrict and detect the speed of the Monorail when it exceeds the civil limit. Emergency Brakes are applied and the monorail is brought to a safe stop when a misaligned switch is detected and when the monorail reaches the end of the beam.
