Assistant Engineer Intern in Quality and Maintenance
Responsibilities
Testing products to determine how long they will last and make a report.
To check what part may break down first and how to improve Product Durability.
EDUCATIONAL PROJECT
1. Modeling, Meshing and Fluent Analysis for a cylinder part using ansys software. August 2015
Responsibilities
This modeling, meshing and fluent analysis is done in order to see the flow inside the cylinder part.
Velocity and turbulence view of the flow can be observed in ansys software.
Statistics of inlet, outlet pressure and scaled residuals need to be obtained for completion of designing.
2. Casting of a metal by using two different methods
-Die casting
-Sand casting
January 2014
Responsibilities
Performed engineering works such as moulding, welding and designing of the of the die for the desired dimension.
The furnace was being used to melt the metal.
Once the solid metal changes to liquid form it is put in the die and the die casting is done.
Similarly the same die is covered with sand all over and left with a hole on top of the mould to put the molten metal for sand casting.
Mainly the die was prepared to get the university name on the the casting metal at the end of each casting.
3. Manufacturing of heat exchanger
Responsibilities
Designed the Heat exchanger model using the Pro-E tool.
Then the design prototype is set to the manufacturing machine which runs with the manual commands.
Requirements and dimensions of the heat exchanger differs with various customers. Keeping that in mind the dimensions can be set before manufacturing the product.
.
4. Bharath Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) India.
Completed a study project on Mechanical Braking System. November 2012
.
