Masters degree student, RF engineer and a certified Network engineer. Good knowledge and prior hands on experience in Networking that deals with routers and switches Great enthusiasm to learn, excellent communication and prior project work experience of 4 plus months.
I am looking for opportunities that are in line with my interests in Data communications and Networking and RF engineering.
Education:
-Currently pursuing MS, Electrical Engineering from California State University Northridge, Northridge, CA. Enrolled August, 2015 and expected to graduate May, 2017.
-Bachelors degree in Engineering from Vasavi College Of Engineering,Hyderabad, India. Graduated in May 2015
oSpecialization: Electronics and Communications.
Certifications:
-Cisco Certified Network Associate(CCNA) with a score of 904/1000 (Cisco ID: CSCO13042601)
Curriculum Projects:
-Cell phone controlled electronic appliances: Developed a microcontroller based system to control various household devices over a GSM network using a cell phone. This project was done as a requisite for my Bachelors degree.
-Design of a two-stage Low Noise Amplifier: Designed a two stage low noise amplifier at 17ghz to achieve a gain of 24db and a noise figure less than 2db using transistor VMMK-1218.The first stage in the build up was the use of a MNA(minimum noise amplifier) to achieve minimum possible noise and the second stage was the use of a MGA(maximum gain amplifier) to achieve maximum possible gain.
-Construction of a spectrometer: Built a spectrometer to analyze and observe the light spectra by using different light sources(Flash light, Street lamp, Fluoroscent lamp, Tungsten bulb). Can also be used to understand what type of chemical elements a star is composed of.
-Design of a three-stage Low Noise Amplifier: Currently working on the design of a three-stage low noise amplifier using an MGF-4937 transistor. The goal is to design a two-stage low noise amplifier at a frequency of 16Ghz to achieve a gain close to 40db with a noise figure less than 2db.
Work Experience:
-Project Trainee: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) May 2015 – Jul 2015 . Assisted in the design and development of digital signal generator using micro-controller T89C51.Various types of signals such as sine wave, square wave, triangular wave over a wide range of frequencies as per the need can be generated. I have successfully completed and tested this project under the guidance of my project guide.
Programming skills:
-Worked on python and its extensions like NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib for machine learning algorithms(LDA, Perceptron, Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machines)
-Matlab for course related assignments
