And using Fowler, Brown & Sharpe, Also using a Hardness gage to verify material is the correct hardness (Normally class C Rockwell) and reviewing the Material Certifications to make sure we are machining the correct material. I have my Certification in (GD&T Tolerancing). I have training in using Metric blueprints or common SAE Decimal blueprints. I’m familiar with many threads from API, standard unified fine or rough, CAM-P threads, New VAM,VAM ACE, Buttress,Hydril double start threads.I have experience with
with NDT,Dye penetrant testing for Porosity, cracks or flaws in the material especially in
API threaded areas. Ultrasonic wall thickness gages (Mitutoyo, Fowler)
I also have experience running a Zeiss CMM. I have a lot of experience inspecting various materials such as Inconel, Stainless steel 300 and 400 series, Carbon steel, Titanium, various Aluminums Nitronic 60, Nitronic 50. Egg shaped parts, Tapered parts as well as other normal issues with precision machining and fabrication. And more precision tooling commonly used in most machine shops.
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Machined and Inspecting Precision parts in Metric or Inch. Commonly down to .0001 of an inch or closer.Inspecting close finishes per print (12 – 63 ). Also very close tolerance radii 1 - 360 .

WORK HISTORY
Houston Foundry & Machine
Jan.2015-August.2016
Houston, Texas
Quality Control Inspector Laid off - Low Oil Prices
I was responsible for all First Articles and Final Inspections. Also the company's’ calibration of all precision measuring tools. Some companies refer to this as M&TE. I also tagged and documented any parts that were out of tolerance (NCR, MRB). I would report all my measurements either good or bad to the production manager. (SOP) The manager would get back with me on what needs to be shipped or with a Non-conforming part or parts to USE AS IS, REWORK or Scrap. I would segregate the parts to be shipped. And the Machinist would fix the reworkable parts and the scrap went into the recycle area.

Before being a Quality Control Inspector. I ran CNC machines. Schlumberger at Ardmore St. in Houston
I would receive my Planner /Router with my program and Blueprints and Tool list and, I would go get the Material and make sure it was correct per drawing and Router. I would load and set all tooling, prepare soft jaws or use hard jaws. Make sure all inserts were correct. And I would run the part or parts and make sure that all Dimensions were correct and all finishes were in tolerance. I machined completion parts for 2 years and moved up to the Safety Valve Dept. for 2 years and 6 months and set up and ran closer toleranced parts. Then I asked to be transferred to SRC Rosharon as a Quality Control Inspector.
