Experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst:

Worked on automating test scripts for multiple projects using Selenium Webdriver via Java and macros in Excel for data-intensive tasks.

Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software development Life cycle (SDLC).

Good Knowledge of bug reporting and test management tools like JIRA by Atlassian.

Hands-on comprehensive reporting in defect management and executing test cases.

As a part of agile methodology I have been exposed to project design and planning phases as well and have worked on Scrum Project. Thus I understand the advantages and disadvantages of Agile approaches.

Creating an automation framework, with custom reporting and archiving system.

Project: Employee Happiness Index

Objectives – To Capture the mood of the employees for understanding the current state of the employees and further use it to analyze the data by HR’S and BP-HR of the organization so as to study the employee’s mood and thus help in retaining the employees.

Scope:- The Employee Happiness Index provides a platform for Employee’s to capture their moods and HR and BP-HR’s to quickly and easily analyze employee’s mood trends through reports.

Tasks Performed:-

1.As the Application was on Angular JS, Protractor as a tool and jasmine framework was used.

2.Tested with full system development lifecycle experience, including designing, developing and implementing test plans, test cases and test processes.

3.Test Reports in terms of how many test cases passed and failed was also designed. Framework also contained the feature of taking the screenshot of the all the test cases.

Project: Live Corporate Activities

Objectives – Objective of the project is to provide a website for employees/users to view the company notifications from different groups and event at a single place and also to reduce the email communication and de-clutters employees mail boxes.

Scope:-In future it can lead to de-cluttering of emails and employees can receive only project related emails and rest of the emails can be shifted to other portal.

Tasks Performed:

1.As the Application was on Java, Selenium as a tool and testng framework was used.

2.Wrote and executed Functional, System and Integration test Cases.

3.Ran the test scenarios in automation scripts mentioned in manual test cases and implemented testng annotations.

4.Implemented Maven for downloading all the dependencies related to the project.

5.Implemented Testng framework for structuring, grouping, launching tests and generating test reports.

Project made: Tourist Guidance System (June 2014 – July 2014)

Designing an application for tourist to ease the problems faced by tourist in planning the trip. Providing the tourists

with prior information about the city and maps to take the optimum route for their destination.

Project made: Developed Aged Invariant Face Prediction Using Matlab (Sep 2015- Nov 2015)

To simplify and automate the task of recognizing faces which are susceptible to changes due to aging process including wrinkled skin.To come up with a representation and matching scheme that is robust to changes due to facial Aging.
