• Conducts inspections of commercial vehicles at the designated vehicle inspection point in accordance with the DOD and Air Force Guidelines, and local procedures. Inspections include the interior of the vehicle cab, bed/box, trunk, trailer, under the hood, and underside of the vehicle

• Inspections include the use of various government furnished equipment such as mirrors, hand-held/desktop explosive detectors, under vehicle surveillance systems, and support to the handler of any employed Military Working Dog Team

• Perform applicable tasks in associated with installation access at gates designated specifically for commercial vehicle traffic in accordance with local procedures and Air Force policies

• Provides accurate and expedient service while maintaining control of all personnel during required document verification and vehicle pass processing prior to entering the installation. Provided the following services a. Determine there is a valid need to enter the installation. b. Review local installation driver revocation and debarment listings prior to issuance of pass media. c.
