Crenshaw Prompt Response Unit (CPR)

Field Technician (Precision Inspection Services)

I performed various and diverse types of product inspections, sortation and occasionally re-work of product on-site at customer locations.

Inspections included: dimensional measurements, specialized functional tests and visual inspections.

I responded to quality spills in locations through the USA and Mexico.

Additional business travel included multiple EU nations (UK, Republic of Ireland, France and Germany), to support and promote CPR services with our customers.

As the CPR unit name indicates, my response to a quality spill had to be prompt, in most cases within 24 hours if in the USA, 48 hours in Mexico.

A highly professional presentation, including lab coat, a well-equipped and calibrated portable work center were essential to match our level of commitment.

My customers valued my 100% acceptable inspection record, meaning that no part I deemed acceptable was ever later found defective.

I worked alone mostly, but occasionally coordinated work with temporary employees for very larger jobs.

During the times where CPR services were not required I performed inspection functions within our associated factories in Florida and Connecticut. This included use of visual inspection systems, like the OGP SmartScope system.

Products included: plastic parts and assemblies (mostly drive elements, like gears and pulleys), rollers, linear slides, electric motors, wiring harnesses, soldered connections, bearing assemblies and power supplies.

Rapport with my customers was exceptional, and I am pleased to have been very positively reviewed on many occasions by the customers I served.
