1)Quality checking/testing of electrical cables as per Indian Standards as follows :-

IS 694 : 2010 - PVC insulated unsheathed and sheathed cables/cords with rigid and flexible conductor for rated voltages upto & including 1100 volts.

IS 5831 : 1984 - Specification for PVC insulation and sheath of electric cables.

IS 8130 : 1984 - Specification for conductors for insulated electric cables and flexible cords.

IS 1554 (Part 1) : 1988 - Specification of PVC insulated (Heavy Duty) electric cables for working voltages upto & including 1100 volts.

IS 7098 ( Part 1) : 1988 - Specification for cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated PVC sheathed cables for working voltages upto & including 1100 volts.

IS 10810 : 1984 - Method of test of electrical cables.

2)Maintain technical testing reports of electrical cables and other technical documents.
