First, I configured the Mikrotik machine in Atlanta to run as a PPTP server and adjusted the MTU to get the optimum download and upload speed with the lowest network spikes. Second, I installed another Mikrotik machine in Beirut and configured it to run as a PPTP client. At last, I adjusted the MTU in Beirut to correlate with the MTU in Atlanta to achieve terrific results.

Internet bonding: After installing the mushroom truffle lite network bonding machine, we detected that there is a problem in the network bonding. Therefore, I contacted the mushroom support team, led by Mr. Rajesh Mishra, and assisted him in order to detect the problem and solve it. In short, I had to connect A Ubuntu machine, configure it to be remotely accessible, assign ports and forwarding patterns so that the mushroom team would be able to remotely diagnose and fix the timing patterns of the two ISP’s. I was in charge of emailing the mushroom company and execute all tests needed such as testing out the mushroom in a heavy environment until the problem was solved Pacs Server at a Medical center: At BMTTECH, we were assigned to build a radiology reading room consisting of one server and two reading stations. The server had windows server 2008 with a domain controller and a file server with a raid one back bone for redundancy. The workstations were joined to the domain and had a reading software installed by the company called Nuance Communications. Then, I installed the dragon medical software so that doctors may write reports faster and more efficiently. In addition, I had to contact the Orthanc company and get their version of The Pacs server in order to get a GUI based Pacs server. And we got an add-on to the server from Nuance so that doctors would be able to push and upload studies to the cloud. Finally, I had to configure the DICOM AET title so that all medical imaging machines can push to the server for archiving purposes and the ability to push online so that doctors may view remote radiology images and write reports. Mikrotik hotspot: Configured Mikrotik machine to act as a hotspot server and with the help of the user manager, I was able to create a batch of users and generate vouchers for them. The vouchers where designed to include the customers logo so that each voucher has their logo on top, and their username and password, and at the bottom a statement such as a telephone number or thanks for coming, etc.

“Touch”. I was responsible for the installations, maintenances, and data backup of five main booths and the daily delivery of the data to the J. Walter Thompson Company. The five booths were held in malls and public areas in Lebanon which are Saida, Downtown- Aswak Area, Zaytuna Bay, ABC Achrafie, and Tripoli-La Salinas. Finally, I assisted in the Touch Launch Event “In My New World” in Baabdat, where I was responsible for the installation of the final booth and the maintenance of its computers. Bank Maintenance task: Installed 6 pcs and a cabinet to hold the switch and router, connected the pcs to an unmanaged switch took the isp configuration, programmed the asa cisco router as a nat router with the specific pool of public ips provided from the isp added a dhcp service so with the right default gateway and default route all pcs had internet connection and successful acquired an ip address

Server maintenance task: server IBM 3100 with 4 sas drivers with a raid 1 installation, status degraded due to 2 sas drives failing, os wasn't bootable at all, used a bootable cd to backup and recover all data, installed 4 new ssd drives, configured the LSI web bois raid controls with raid 1, reinstalled server 2008 r2, got domain up and running, rejoined each pc at the company to the domain, reinstalled the ms exchange 2007 r3, restored emails of both the exchange and the domain from backup files, recreated each and every user in active directory, helped the SQL tech guy to reinstalled and restore the database back on to the server, configured all users necessities from language to printer setup, got the company back online Squid Proxy Server: Our work was to assemble and install 20 computers at a site and do all the networking background and install a d-link load balancer and a squid proxy server to optimize the web surfing experience

Senior Project for BS in CCE in 2013: The objective was to build a security program that detects motion and sends a picture of the moving body to the customer. We bought a micro controller called Raspberry PI, a PIR sensor, and a camera. With the supervision of Dr. Ali Bazzi in ALU University, we connected the PIR sensor to the GPIO ports of the Raspberry PI and the camera to the USB port. At last we wrote a Python code that is able to detect motion through the PIR sensor, take a picture, and directly send it to the customer by email. The Thesis for MS in CCE: I was given a project with supervision of Dr. Moustafa Tannir to implement the Cisco VPLS technology and show its scalability factor and it shown improvements with respect to the previous MPLS technology. I installed a network stimulator called GNS 3 and downloaded a few Cisco IOS routers and the Cisco CSR v1000 image. We connected all the routers together with a switch, configured the VPLS, and showed the scalability factor by adding multiple routers to the CSR. To achieve maximum performance and get the best convergence time, I tweaked the MPLS LDP hold-time and the OSPF Hello and Dead timers.
