RELEVANT PROJECTS:

Client Server Socket Programming in Python

Implemented a communication between client and server using TCP protocol in Python IDLE

Created TCP socket object at the client side

Sent and receive data after connection to a server

At the server side, created TCP socket object and binded it to an address by IP address and port number

Also implemented the steps to get host name and host IP address in Python IDLE 3.4

Network Building using CISCO Packet Tracer Simulator

Built a network containing two LANs. Carried out the communication between them with the help of cisco router

Studied about router configurations and implemented using commands in IOS Command Line Interface. Also implemented transition within different modes i.e. User, Privileged and Global Configuration Mode.

Configure interfaces at routers and IP address while in configuration mode. Set the IP address and default gateway for the end device i.e. computer

Performance analysis of Space Time Block Code for Wireless Communication System

Designed and developed a wireless MIMO communication system using 2 Tx and 2 Rx antenna in presence of Rician fading channel.

Studied the design criteria for space time codes.

Evaluated performance of STBC based on bit error rate and SNR.

Study of MIMO System

Studied different LTE MIMO modes

Compared the performances of SISO and MIMO systems assuming Raleigh channel

Simulated MIMO system using QPSK and 16-QAM modulation techniques

Helped in understanding the basic concepts related to modulation techniques by comparing their performances

Wireless Sensor Networks

Sensors used: gas, temperature, fire, light, motion, pulse rate sensor. Parameter values displayed on LCD

If parameters exceed the fixed limit, a signal was sent from Tx to receiving end of ZigBee Transceiver

Receiving end acted as a transmitter if fire detected to send back the message to navigate to the exit

This message was displayed on LCD after receiving

SDRAM Controller for 80386 Microprocessor

Designed SDRAM controller that interfaces the MT48LC8M8A2 SDRAM memory with 80386DX microprocessor having asynchronous memory support

Implemented row, column and bank generations, ready and refresh logic, memory interface and operations

Project Presentation on Scheduling Disciplines in Wireless Communications

Studied Service Time Distribution Classes
