Duties:

Facility Manager 400 structures/ buildings with over 1,228,455 sq. ft.

Responsibilities included buildings and structures located at 39 public parks comprised of 31 athletic fields, 21 playgrounds, 64 public shelters, 3 swimming pools and three community centers: 8 fire stations, police headquarters and command center.

Oversee construction projects including obtaining bids and contract negotiation.

I manage a staff of 13 tradesmen. I select, train and develop all the facilities staff.

Maintain four 500KW generators

Maintain over 1000 city owned street lights

Compliance adherence by retaining and maintaining documentation for audits and inspections as related to the city.

Vendor and contractor liaison for on-site, work related facilities support. Managed all the various service contracts, HVAC, Janitorial, pest control and generators.

DaVita Labs, Deland FL

FACILITIES MANAGER- (2 sites) 2013 - 2016

Duties:

Facility Manager for 2 lab locations with over 124,000 sq. ft.

Responsibilities included maintaining, inspecting, scheduling preventive maintenance for all electrical, HVAC, generators, lab equipment, freezers, ground maintenance and other duties to ensure lab remained operational 24/7.

Oversee minor construction projects including obtaining bids and contract negotiation. Ensure employee safety by performing Pre-Construction Risk Assessment.

Oversee the Environmental Services, Security Services and Biohazardous Waste Management contracts.
