Project Details:

This project is changing the way double discount is awarded to staff at a Double Discount event. To claim double discount at the till, the customer (staff) will have to present a Double Discount coupon as well as their Staff discount card. At the point where the voucher is scanned the till will send a request message to a database to collect information of the card details and the remaining uses of Double discount. Initially for this event staff customers will have three attempts to claim staff discount. When a customer uses one of their opportunities the till will update the database to minus one from their remaining uses until no remaining uses are left.

The Neighbor Discovery Protocol is a protocol in the Internet Protocol Suite used with Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6).
