Creative thinker with the ability to provide both strategic and tactical direction; detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture. Effective at driving change and managing teams to achieve desired results. Strong interpersonal skills, highly adept at building client relationships and creating client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Team player with the ability to operate independently, effect change across functions, take constructive input from multiple sources, and deliver results.
Selected Accomplishments
Completely redesigned a logistics application that coordinates the training and equipping of 350+ Army units with 70+ systems. New web user interface and system design reduced data entry time from 111 min/mo to 5 min/mo per system. Designed and developed custom, complex Business Objects - Web Intelligence ad-hoc/canned reports and dashboards using predefined conditions. Assisted with the Enterprise Data Warehouse design and Remedy’s ITSM system on-boarding of new customers.
Managed development of a web-based application that provides visibility and access to equipment inventory information during all stages of the logistics process in a central location via web access with near-real-time information on depot stock and centralized and standardized reporting with drill-down capability. Reduced process cycle time from 30 days to 7 days.
Managed $30K - $1.5M projects yielding cost savings of 50-75% with geographically dispersed teams of .NET, Java, expert systems, and Business Objects developers and consultants. Developed and negotiated implementation strategy plans with customer senior management. Performed cost benefit analysis studies. Managed software releases and user acceptance testing. Provided user training and customer support. Delivered all projects on time and within budget. Performed project financial tracking.
Managed multiple projects to define, justify, design and deliver knowledge management systems using case based reasoning, rule based reasoning or augmented fault modeling techniques that achieved customer key metrics such as decreasing call agent training time by 50%, increasing first time call resolution by 75%, capturing and sharing the expertise of Subject Matter Experts, and increasing consumer satisfaction.
Conceptualized, proposed, designed and developed a Computer Integrated Manufacturing project to automate the generation of assembly instructions using an object-oriented/rule-based expert system shell integrated with the engineering CAD and BOM systems and a word processing platform. Received an Industrial Modernization Incentives Program contract award from the U.S. Air Force to implement the concept and demonstrate to industry. Project resulted in cost savings of 50%.
