Experiments included industrial operations such as a performance analysis of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, including efficiency and calculation of the overall heat transfer coefficient.

CHEMICAL PLANT DESIGN UML CHEM. E CAPSTONE LOWELL, MA SPRING 2016

Worked in a tightknit group of 7 to complete a feasible chemical plant design for the production of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid.

Roles included Process Design Engineer, Materials Transport Engineer, and Market Analyst. Ancillary role included some Facility Layout.

Constructed Stream Tables, PFDs, P&IDs, and PPDs

Sized and costed major process equipment such as reactors, storage tanks, and scrubbers, as well as materials transport equipment that included pumps, conveyors, and piping.

Collected tickets and guided passengers on and off ships.

Performed daily maintenance of ships’ decks and cabins.
