All responsibility of the network and the systems of the Immigration Department of Malda, West Bengal (24*7). Responsible for supporting level one network support for the project. Responsible for monitoring servers and all running application. Job responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the site comprising of a CISCO 1905Router, CISCO 2960 Switch, CISCO ASA 5520 Firewall, Windows7, 8 Clients, Web Cam, CISCO 7961 IP Phones, EPRM (Electronics Passport Reading Machine) that are connected centrally via BSNL Lease Line (34MBPS) with Bureau of Immigration (BOI) Delhi with high security and responsibility.
Role and Responsibility:-
Responsible for Configuration and Troubleshooting of Routing Protocols such as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP.
Maintain the WAN Network as well as MPLS connectivity and Leased Line.
Configuring and Troubleshooting VLAN, LAN management, Port Security.
Configuration of access-list in Router & Switch for controlling access.
Responsible for Configuring and Troubleshooting Access Control List(ACL).
To monitor that the link (WAN network connectivity) is UP. In case the link is down, then follow up with BSNL to make the link UP.
To installation, configuration and troubleshooting of total online software package (Immigration Control System).
Maintaining a good relationship between NIC and Bureau of Immigration(BOI) .
Handling and assist others to overcome their problems in IVFRT projects.
