Checking of crude oil and gas parameters like BS & W by Dean and Stark and Centrifuge Method, API measurement, Density by Hydrometer and Moisture in gas by Dew point meter.

JOB PROFILE:
Monitors Process and equipment functioning, observes pressure, temperature, level, flow rate and performs regular unit checks in order to ensure that all equipment is operating in the allowable limit.
Controls operation of separators, Knockout drums, Heaters, Export and Booster compressors, Gas Dehydration unit and refrigeration equipment in order to liquefy, compress, or re-gasify natural gas.
Operation of Water injection systems (CPI, IGF and pumps).
Perform the Tank farm activities (Changeover, Transfer and Export of crudes).
Monitors all aspects of the plant and reports and deviations from normal practice.
Utilizes experience and hazard identification knowledge to minimize plant hazards during routine activities.
Reads log sheets to determine process deviation and disposition, or to detect malfunctions. Updates and review existing operations procedures.
Starts and shuts down plant equipment and utilities by following procedures and instruction from the Supervisor or DCS Panel Operator.
Ensures that the work place is maintained clean and tidy at all times in line with the company standards.
Reviews the history of operational parameters around the clock and takes appropriate actions to meet the operational standards.
