Project Description:

Project 1: AIX OS Upgrade- Upgrading AIX OS from v6.1 tech level 6 to AIX 6.1 tech level 8 SP2 on all WAS (Websphere application server) server stacks for Dev/Test, QA and Prod environment. Migrate to VMware. For datacenter on east coast. Middleware/EMS/Distributed Systems.

Project 2: Windows Server OS upgrade- Upgrading 200 servers from Win 2003 OS to Win2008 R2 64bit. Project involved both in-place upgrade for Win 2K3 64 bit servers to Win 2K8 R264 bit and ‘new built’ and app migration for Win 2K3 32 bit servers.

Project 3: Server Virtualization (Hardware Refresh)- Replace aging hardware with VM/Physical or retire (provide stable environments). The project includes Windows and AIX servers throughout IBC.

Project 4: Datafirmware Power upgrade- Upgrading Firmware v3.8.1.18 to Firmware V 4.0.2.12 (Old version was no longer in support). The project scope involved upgrading the 4 production clusters which had 40 applications including AIW, Blue Squared, BUS, ESIRBA, ACR, IQPega, IQPlus, Router service (Blue Core router web service)

Description: Responsible for managing the complete life cycle of Infrastructure Services Delivery in the National Datacenters, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout. Maintain a transparent line of communication with the company’s Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), providing status reporting, risk assessment and dependency synchronization information. End to end service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Work as a single point of contact for various business units – OSS, NETO, BSS, Other-Other and Corporate, representing the Infrastructure Services (datacenter, servers, storage, database and platforms).
