Department is a 2 paint line operation. AAMA 2603 and AAMA 2605
Both lines are 5 stage pretreat with chrome phosphate utilizing caustic cleaner on one line and acid cleaner on the second line.
Most of the production relates to window and door shapes to the AAMA 2603, 2604 and 2605 standards
Daily production volume on line one ranges from 40,000 – 90,000 lbs depending on extruded profiles
Daily production volume on the 2605 line ranges from 30,000 – 73,000 lbs. depending on shapes
Total paint production averages 2.1 million pounds per month
Paint volume customers include major window and door companies including Pella, Anderson, and Marvin and many others
Responsible for safety training in confined space, lock, tag and try, fall protection, electrical safety, machine guarding and first aid
DOT training in waste paint, non-regulated paint, and chrome waste
Responsible for treating waste water generated in paint department
Made considerable input to increase our paint production 40% over last 2 years
