Education John Adams High School Sep 2013 ~ Jun 2017 I am part of the PBIS program which helps students that aren't on track and have a big chance into not making it to graduate, we help them not skip class, do their world, stay out of trouble, and keep a

positive attitude during the school year. This program was developed because we had a low graduating

percentage and this program has help it improve to the max, it doesn't only help other students it also helps kids like me I was enrolled into the program as a mentee and now I am on of the mentors I have

learned to be a leader and be positive about myself. Being part of the volleyball and and captain of the softball team for the past years have also help me learn to be a leader and learn to work with others having good sportsmanship.

I was enrolled in the Cypress Hills summer youth

program. The Summer Youth Employment Program

this program gives the chance to teens and adults

from 14 up to the age of 24 with paid summer

employment for up to six weeks in July and August

.

In my first 2 weeks in the program I worked at Staples located in Gateway Mall and transferred to Brooklyn Ladies U.S.A located in Fulton St. When I was in

staples I worked stocking, sales associate, and

changed prices when needed. Brooklyn Ladies was

an amazing experience I learned how to work with

merchandise carefully, keep the store nice and clean, stock room putting price tags on merchandise and

sometimes used to switch back and forth from the

floor helping customers and making sure their

experience was the best to the stock room. SYEP

trained us to make sure we give our best to

customers making sure our emotions or feelings get involved with our work.

Skills I am a good leader, listener, doing teamwork, giving the best of me at all times, and communicating.
