WORK EXPERIENCE
Commercialization Officer
HIGHEST Transformer (June 2015 – November 2016)
Participated in the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps Bootcamp (NSF I-Corps) program.
Conducted extensive customer canvassing and customer discovery
Conducted customer interviews with specifying engineers, project managers, and utility workers to gain information about the product needs of their respective industries
Discovered new possible markets and applications for the product RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Senior Design
Dry-Type Toroidal Transformer (April 2015 – June 2016)
Researched the prototype performance test requirements for a dry type utility toroidal transformer specifically IEEE standard C57.12.91-2011
Examined relevant patents in search of prior art
Reached out to industrial, utility, and testing companies to request access for testing facilities to run the Short-Circuit Capability, Insulation, power factor, capacitance, and resistance tests
Wrote a proposal and presented the project to the curriculum coordinator and the head of the Power Department as the project was outside of the scope and capabilities of the Grove School Microcontroller Programming
Electrical Engineering Lab (January 2015 – May 2015)
Programmed the PIC18F4520 to control a cooling unit fan, with an input rheostat adjusting control voltage
Digital Clock Design
Electrical Engineering Lab (September 2013 – December 2013)
Designed extensive point to point wiring along with switching logic systems
Worked in a group to solve the design problems presented by the hardware RELEVANT COURSES
