EXPERIENCE

STUDENT - UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN DIEGO

September 2013 – June 2016

Engineered an economical on-board Hydrogen fuel production process for a low emission fuel cell car at an estimated production cost of $100,000

Designed a microbial fuel cell for simultaneous water recovery and electricity production in developing communities at a cost of under $500 per unit. A collaboration with J. Craig Venter Institute

Optimized operating parameters for throughput and uniformity of a low-pressure CVD reactor by collaboratively studying fluid flow, diffusion, and Langmuir kinetics of Silane depositing over a Silicon wafer boat via Comsol software

Wrote an implemented a numerical scheme in Matlab to simulate and study vorticity in turbulent flow using Fourier spectral discretization and a low-storage RK3-Theta time marching scheme

Experimental research in: Chemical vapor deposition reactors, reverse osmosis, continuous rectification, liposome nanoparticles, photocatalytic reactors, plate heat exchangers
