Resume:

Dear employer,

I am a graduate of the Environmental Technician program with course work focusing environmental law, environmental monitoring, earth science, biology, ecology, and applied geomatics. I am able to conduct field tests and investigations, according to prescribed procedures, processes and standards in order to obtain data for use by environmental, engineering and scientific personnel. In between remote seasonal environmental positions, I have taken time to travel throughout many different countries, and I am now looking to find an ideal job where I can utilize my skills in order to benefit and preserve our beautiful natural resources

I have the ability to collect and process samples for laboratory analysis using appropriate protocols and using information technology tools competently. I am very proficient in conducting environmental and wildlife surveys. My knowledge and experience have prepared me for the rigors of being an environmental technician and I am confident that I would be a great addition to your work force. My resume highlights my ability/knowledge/expertise in technical report writing and data collection related to environmental assessments.

I have worked outdoors for several different employers and I am no stranger to a fast paced and physically demanding environment. I have had extensive experience in both basic and applied research and am a fast and efficient learner, able to grasp new concepts quickly. The environmental technician position is very appealing to me because I am an avid outdoorsman and I am very passionate about the conservation of our beautiful forests, wildlife and waterways. My long-term goal is to gain more field experience with environmental management and eventually gain higher positions within the environmental sector. I look forward to discussing the matter with you further in person.

Sincerely,

Yosef Dvores
