Quality Technician
2010 - 2015
As a Quality Control Technician, my job was to ensure that the manufacturing process was running effectively and safely while at the same time see that the operators followed the guidelines they were taught by keeping a sharp eye on materials so that unsafe products did not reach the customer. To accomplish this goal, I used height gages, check fixtures, calipers and micrometers and also conducted Layered Process Audits, assuring key work steps were being followed. I also took measurements and keep the records of incoming steel.
