Test Project Lead for MGC (NGN) project of RUSSIA (RUSSX1).

The initial trial was to provide the C4 NGN switch and later increase the capability by moving to C5 customers.

Was responsible for maintaining the NGN lab Configuration for the entire project.

The switch is now in the filed operating at the customer premises.

Project was taken as a Candidate or CMMI Level 5 for Alcatel.

Feb 2005 – Feb 2006 Customer - Russia

Test Project Lead for Legacy S12 Switch

Handled the RUCIU5 (Russia and Common wealth Independent States) Upgrade.

The Project was a candidate for the CMM L5 of the Organization.

As a Test Project Leader, I Represent the Test Competence Area in the Project Team.

The work includes Defining the Test Strategy,deriving a plan for the Test Activities,requesting manpower for the same,reporting to the Project Manager on a weekly basis, forecasting any risks involved,taking mitigation action for the same, analyzing the effort spent on each phase, tracking the progress of testcases, timely escalation of issues like effectiveness of the testcases.

It also, includes the recuperation planning in case of any delays.

Handled a Complete project RUCIU4, as both Development Project Leader and Test Project Leader.

The RUSSIAN upgrade 4 project, for two Exchanges in RUSSIA.

The project was assessed for the CMM Level 4

Was involved in the Call processing domain(Signalling) for the Feature Subscriber Pulse Code Modulation(SPCM). A type of RSU.

Responsible for the Top Level Design, Detailed Design, Coding, Code Inspection of the SPCM Modules of Alcatel A1000 S12 Switch.

Implemented four features for the Remote Subscribers, The External Manual Test, Clip, Clip During Call Waiting, and the Visual Message Wait Indication

Took part in the Feature Integration Test Team.

Jan. 2001 – Feb. 2001 Project - TURK7L Customer - Turk Telecom, Turkey.

Was involved in the Call Processing domain for the Development of the Feature ‘Badpayer’.

Responsible for Top Level Design, Detailed Design, Coding, Code Inspection of User-Network Interface Signaling Modules of Alcatel A1000 S12 Switch for the feature Badpayer.

Worked in the Feature Integration Testing Phase of the Project.

Was Involved in the Call Processing domain (Signalling) for the below mentioned requirements of the customer.

Responsible for Top Level Design, Detailed Design, Coding, Code Inspection of User-Network Interface Signalling Modules of Alcatel A1000 S12 Switch for features Calling Line Identification Presentation (CLIP), CLIP during Explicit Call Transfer ( ECT ), ECT Plus Basic Three Party Service ( TPS ) and Malicious Call Identification ( MCI ).

Worked in the Feature Integration Testing phase of the project.

Nov. 1999 - Feb. 2000 Project - WR1A Customer - Alcatel-Bell Antwerp

Involved in the Module Testing of Analog Line Signalling modules of the Alcatel A1000 S12 Switch.

Responsible for Module Testing of the features Implemented for the WR1A. Namely, Message Wait Indication ( MWI), Visual Message Wait Indication (VMWI ) and Calling Name Display (CNAM).

May 1999 - Oct 1999 Project - TE74 Customer - Telefonica, Spain.

Involved in implementing the Narrow- Band Multiservice Delivery System for the Spanish Cutomer, Telefonica.

Responsible for Detailed Design,Coding, Code Inspection of the Interface Modules between Signalling and the Line Interface modules. Partly done in Madrid and partly done in Chennai.

The project was successfully completed and handed over to the customer.

Jan 1999 - May 1999 Project – BP7 Customer- Belgacom, Belgium.

Involved in the Module Testing of the Signalling Modules.

On - the - Job training of Signalling System in Alcatel Switch (User - Network Interface Signalling ). The On-the-Job-Training comprises of a hands-on experience on the Software used in the Alcatel 1000 - S12 Exchange, which included training in the different aspects of Signalling System, the ITU-T recommendations and the protocols in use and a variety of tools (Alcatel Specific) used throughout the life cycle of a project.

Responsible for the Module Testing of ISDN modules (Worked with FAST tool, a special tool developed for testing the ISDN modules).
