Primary responsibilities included creating contract drawings, specifications, basis of design summaries, and test procedures for fire suppression and fire alarm systems as well as life safety review.
Typical projects ranged from aviation and federal hangars, process and industrial refineries, energy plants, and private facilities. Other projects were commercial airports, government training buildings, government hangars, power plant transformers, and medical testing facilities.
Roles included being the lead on projects, working with CAD drafters to create contract drawings, shop drawing reviews, discussing issues with contractors, answering client questions, and managing the budgeted hours.

Keystone project was developing an input hopper for a metal credit card printer. The project included modeling a hopper in CAD, machining a prototype, and testing the hopper.
Roles included developing custom solutions for individual client needs and modeling custom printer components.
Additional projects included completing two cost reduction projects that resulted in annual savings for the company.

Taught a SolidWorks class to 7th- 8th grade girls. The girls learned the basic functions of SolidWorks and were given a project to create chairs, which could be assembled without adhesives.
Assisted in the airplane lab helping 6th grade girls build remote control planes. The girls learned the basics of the Engineering process as well as using a variety of machines and tools.

Senior Design Project: Ottobock specializes in customized wheelchair seating for disabled individuals. The custom wheelchairs help the customers have a higher quality of life and comfort.
