Proficiency in coding Outpatient, ER, HCC, SDS ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding. Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Encoder, 3-M, Quantum and Quadra med. I spent 1 years in Okinawa, Japan. My job consists of assigning the correct codes to medical charts per the physician’s notes. I code for the physician at the hospitals. I am a strong physician base coder. My expertise is in Same-Day-Surgery, ER, HCC and ancillary. My experience extends to working the AR and Denial reports to make sure they are current. I’ve also work HCC diagnosis for submitting to CMS.

My daily task was coding and billing for Multi-Physician Clinic. I analyzed patient charts for consistency and completeness for coding purposes. Worked denials and AR daily. I successfully collected monies from old accounts by effectively communicating with a variety of insurance companies. The physicians were queried when documents were not straight forward or inadequate for coding.
